Application Instructions Substrate & Surface Preparartion:-
Saw cut or cut back the extremities of the repair locations to a depth of at least 10mm to avoid feather edging and to provide a square edge. Break out the complete repair area to a minimum depth of 10mm up to sawn edge. Clean the surface and remove any dust, unsound or contaminated material, plaster, oil, paint, grease, corrosion deposits or algae.

Storage & Shelflife

Hydroment 476 Crete HS as supplied shall be stored in a cool and dry place away from sunlight, moisture and high humidity and have a shelf life of 12 months in the originalpacking.

Health & Safety

Hydroment 476 Crete HS is non-toxic and has no known effects. Prolonged contact with skin should be avoided. Any splashes should be washed well with water. The use of rubber gloves and safety glasses is recommended. Any splashes on eyes should be flushed immediately with plenty of clean water and medicaltreatment sought.

It must be mechanically abraded back to a sound concrete surface. Bolts or anchor holes must be clean and free from dust or loose material. This can be achieved by blowing clean the hole. Base plates must be cleared of all rust, oil or grease. It is essential to provide air pressure relief holes for venting. Pre-Soaking It is essential to pre-soak the concrete substrate prior to application of Bostik Flowfill Grout GP. Pre-soak substrate with water for a minimum of 6 hours prior to grouting. Immediately before pouring, the excess water should be removed. In the case of bolt/anchor holes, the holes must be blown out to ensure no traces of free water are present whilst grouting. Formwork Formwork must be constructed to facilitate rapid and continuous filling, whilst remaining leak proof and water tight. Foam rubber strips or suitable sealants underneath the formwork are recommended. Unrestrained Surface As Bostik Flowfill Grout GP is an expanding grout, it is advisable not to have any unrestrained areas. Low Temperature Working At temperatures below 5°C the cure rate and strength development rate will be dramatically reduced. If early strength is required, it is advisable to use heated water and condition Bostik Flowfill Grout GP to 25°C. Do not exceed this temperature. High Temperature Working At temperatures above 30ºC, it is advisable to use water below 20ºC when mixing grout. All materials must be kept cool and away from direct sunlight. If practical, the installation area should be shaded by erecting shade

Bostik cwp is a surface, applied, internal crystalline waterproofing material, which waterproofs and protect concrete in depth. It consists of Portland cement, specially treated quartz sand and a compound of active  chemicals. Bostik cwp needs water only to be mixed prior to the application. When bostik is applied to a concrete surfaces the active chemicals combine with the free lime and moisture present in the capillary tracts of the concrete to form an insoluble, crystalline structure. These crystals fill the pores and minor shrinkage cracks in the concrete to prevent any further ingress, still allowing the concrete to breathe.

It is a blend of various epoxy resins and coal tar. It is commonly used to make high solids coatings or paints to provide moisture protection for underground systems like pipelines, water treatment facilities, clarifiers and tanks; it is further used in the sewage industry and for prevention from microorganisms.
